Incredible TP Couture!

Last week was the amazing shower thrown in honor of our most recent (& MARRIED) bride, Inga. I was actually a guest (for once) and had the pleasure to really enjoy myself and get to know her close friends and family prior to her big day. Boy, was it a pleasure, too! Inga's girlfriends did a PHENOMENAL job in coordinating her chic shower (held at Michael's restaurant in Santa Monica). I was amazed by the beautiful flowers and decor created by Empty Vase Floral & Design (http://www.emptyvase.com/) and the unbelievably well thought-out games they provided. And these were not your ordinary, tacky bridal shower games y'all! My ultimate fave was the DRESS THE BRIDE IN TOILET PAPER & other materials provided to us like lace, tulle, rhinestones, etc. They even broke out actual mannequins for each "design team" to create their dream dress that was conducive to Inga's taste and style. I would have to say (& not in bias) that my team went OVER THE TOP with our design - although it did not win (we actually lost out to a team that did some pretty intricate work in their TP gown with rhinestones)! We were still very proud of our couture creation out of TP, ribbon, lace, and tulle. Although taken with my blackberry, you can see how CHIC our design was!
