Modernity at it's FINEST


A Modern Bat Mitzvah
Last year, DE had the opportunity to stlye the then fabulous, now closed Eurochow restaurant (Westwood, CA) for Jordan's Bar Mitzvah. The BLACK & WHITE pallette was simple and yet so sophisticated! We had so much fun playing up on these colors with modern accents (like the chic pillows for the lounge furniture and the set-up of her awesome CANDY STATION!). Our clients also got creative in making sure that their color and theme was showcased in ALL aspects of the event from the guests' attire even down to the OREO COOKIE MILKSHAKE MARTINIS for the kids! It's amazing what a little imagination and "thinking outside" of the box can do for an event! Of course, having the right venue that is conducive to the style and ambiance you want to create is also important - Eurochow already had the chic, modern white chairs, lighted glass-top tables, and the lounge furniture. Dolcissima Events was founded by Candice Bradley, a USC graduate from Long Beach, CA. As a violinist of 20 years playing in various weddings, and years working in TV production & social services, Candice found her highly organized skills and knack for paying careful attention to details better suited her in the event coordinating field. From working in social services on numerous non-profit fundraisers, to catering management & event sales at a renowned event center and golf course in Long Beach, CA, Candice’s experience is quite unique and well rounded. She has successfully designed and coordinated countless weddings, dinner parties, and other social events. Gracefully poised under pressure, Candice is meticulous in her details and believes in the importance of maintaining great relationships with her vendors and past clients! Candice is joined by two very chic & stylish assistant planners: Lauren & Natascha. Lauren adds a unique creative force to the DE team as Natascha's valuable expereince in event & catering operations is a true asset to the execution of any event!
